The Great Commission for Today
Rapid changes in world history over the past decades have made it necessary for us to take a fresh look at the Great Commission. No longer are past interpretations leading to our current programmes suitable. We need to look afresh at the Great Commission in the context of our generation, and so realign our programmes accordingly.
Bro Tan Gee Paw, a former Permanent Secretary in the Civil Service and retired Chairman of PUB, continues to serve in an advisory capacity in government agencies and companies. His public service has been widely recognised with various awards. He is a member of the Barker Road Methodist Church and has preached at many Christian seminars and churches for many years. God has blessed him with a loving wife, Irene, three children and six grandchildren.
