A Prophetic Vision for 2006

I was on my knees in prayer and suddenly it seemed like all lights were turned off and I was in pitch darkness. It was so intense and pitch black. Then I could sense silhouettes and like something hovering nearby. The words of Genesis 1:2 of the Holy Spirit brooding came to my mind. Suddenly, a glow began to appear. First as a line, then it began to grow, like a sun arising on a horizon.

I began to see it all, it was a barren land, like a desert with undulating sand dunes around. There was a breeze of fresh air running over the land, and light began to run over the ground, progressively lighting it all up. These words seem to ring in my spirit: 

“….the dawn of a New Day, the dawn of a New Year, the dawn of a New Age….”

Then I saw it, a patch full of greenery, with a waterfall cascading from the heavens, a bubbling pool where it hit the ground, and a gushing river as it flowed out. Where it flowed, the ground on the banks began to receive life as plants and all sorts of vegetation began to grow.

Then I heard sounds, sounds of many people. Soon people began to appear on the horizon running away from something. Then in the far background I saw dark figures brandishing swords chasing. Suddenly as if seeing for the first time the miracle of cascading water, the bubbling pool and the rushing river, the whole crowd stopped, pursued and pursuers alike. There was silence!! Then as one accord, the whole crowd rushed to the green patch. As they neared it, it was as if they ran into an invisible wall. They could not see it, but they could feel it there, and all further progress was impeded….stopped.

Some people started to get angry and began to shout, to hit the invisible wall with pounding hands and kicking feet. There were others who stood there in bewilderment, in confusion, looking at it all and scratching their heads. There were others, standing back looking at it all, like studying the whole situation pretending that they understood it all. There were others standing there with arms crossed over their chests, looking at what was happening in disdain and acting very aloof. Different people, different reactions.

Then I saw some began to fall on their knees, with faces and hands lifted up to heaven. Tears streaming down, then falling flat on their faces. Suddenly around this people, from nowhere, glittering gold dust, emeralds, rubies and precious stones like a liquid stream began to fall. But these people were so engrossed, on their faces that they did not seem to notice that they were getting covered and buried in that liquid stream. Then as if invisible hands scooped them up, these people were lifted off the ground, carried right through the invisible wall and deposited by the gushing river. Suddenly, like waking from a dream, they began to realize what had happened. They got off their knees and began rejoicing. Some jumped into the river, others were at the river side, drinking and there was great rejoicing.

Very soon, they began to realize that there were still people standing behind the invisible wall. People began to leave the water side and walk to the invisible wall. People on the outside were feeling the wall but were not able to cross it. One of those on the inside reached out and touched the wall. As he did so, his hand just went through and touched the person on the other side. As he did so, he could grab the person on the other side. With an effortless motion, he began to withdraw his arm, and in one fluid moment he seemed to draw the other person through. Very soon others were doing the same, and many were being pulled in and also started running toward the waters .

Then I saw others, still standing there with arms crossed. Others looking away as if not wanting to see or believe what was happening. Then I began to see some people from the inside began to cross the wall back to the outside and join these people. They also began to cross their arms and looking at all that was happening in a very detached way.

Then all the dancing and rejoicing by the waters stopped. People began to look upwards. There was a fresh wind blowing from the heavens. Soon it became a mighty rushing wind. Tongues of fire began to fall. The people began to worship, to praise God and then it happened. It was the Shekinah glory of God poured out. It was an intense cloud covering the people. Suddenly as in one accord, they began to move towards the invisible wall, and then right through it as if there was nothing there. The mob of dark figures with swords, standing and observing the whole time, turned and began to run away in panic.

The people continued to move in one accord, moving across the whole land. Over the horizon, there were many people… lame people, blind people, suffering people, all wandering around. Many of these suffering people were touched, healed and restored as they came into contact with the people from behind the wall. There was much excitement. Fires began to start, with flames beginning to grow. Fires with the word REVIVAL on them began to ignite all over the places. Pockets here, pockets there. It began to burn with greater intensity sweeping over all the land and over the people. Soon it became one great consuming fire. There were people jumping into it, but I also saw people jumping out and running away. There was so many things happening at the same time.

Suddenly, like a vacuum cleaner with a very strong and powerful suction, that was turned on, people were getting sucked up. Many however were left behind. The words rang in my spirit, “…..it may be delayed, but it will not be lost…” Then the word in my spirit ….“ the RETURN of the Lord!” It all ended so suddenly.

I have since sought the Lord for understanding of the vision and as to how Covenant Vision Ministry and myself personally should respond. The Holy Spirit has since brought understanding to me. The new dawn is the beginning of 2006. The years before that seemed to be years of confusion, doubt, turmoil and unrighteousness. But the hand of God is going to bring a new beginning in the year 2006. The ray of light symbolising the future and the hope that will be shining through… A new season and a new age that is going to see tremendous changes. The crowd that was being chased represented the Church. The dark figures with swords representing the forces of evil and darkness, that has got the Church on the run because of doubt, unbelief, wrong teachings, wrong doctrines, wrong objectives, wrong priorities and negative circumstances. However, in all these happenings, God has already prepared a place of rest, restoration and empowerment.

2006 will be a pivotal year for the Church of Jesus Christ both in Singapore and around the world. Certain foundations will be laid and established that would set stage for 2007. 2006 will be a time of tremendous Restoration and Reconciliation in the Body of Christ to an extent never experienced before. This will set the stage for Regeneration and Renewal, not only for the saints but for the Church of Jesus Christ. Grounded on this, an awesome outpouring of the Holy Spirit will begin. Supernatural miracles in the natural to confirm the preaching of the Word will be norm. Fires of Revival will be ignited and will burn until it becomes one consuming fire sweeping across the land.

The problem is that because of the wrong attitudes and perspectives, many will not enter into that place that God has prepared. Only those who would humble themselves, to realize that they cannot do anything by themselves, to begin to hate sinful flesh and Repent, only those can enter. Even as deep heartfelt Repentance take place, the Grace of God will abound even more and they will be taken into that place that God has prepared. As they so humble themselves and repent, God will carry them through. By the waters of God there will be Restoration. This would lead to Reconciliation , that would unite the saints to be the one Glorious Bride that Jesus Christ will be returning for. However, there would be some that would refused to be reconciled, to be pulled through the wall. .

Those who accept the hand of Reconciliation , will be pulled into that place of rest. And will experience Regeneration and Renewal. Yet as this begins to take place, some will choose to be offended and will walk away. For those who stay in the right attitude and perspective to receive the Regeneration and Renewal , they will experience a fresh infilling power of the Holy Spirit.

A Spirit of Unity and Oneness will unite the Body of Christ to move together across the land. It will empower the saints to move in the anointing of the Power of the Holy Spirit that will begin to touch lives around them and Fires of Revival will begin. Then when we think that it is never going to end, the Return of Jesus for His Bride will happen, suddenly and without warning. The stage is ready, but it is waiting for the saints to Repent . Repentance is the activating key that will turn on the floodlights that will light up the stage for the rest to happen. In His Wisdom and Sovereignty, God has put the key in yours and my hands. Our response can start the whole process, or delay the process. Yes, God's plan for Jesus' Return for His Bride can be delayed, but it will happen and will not be lost !!!
