The mission statement of this ministry speaks for itself: Word-based, Spirit-led, Faith-filled teaching and ministry.

This ministry initially began in 1992 as Caldecott Group under the small group ministry of Wesley Methodist Church. In 1999, group dynamics and the attendance profile had changed and a decision was taken to reconstitute it as Covenant Vision Spiritual Growth Seminars under our Covenant Vision Ministry.

In August 2000, the focus, activities and programs for the Friday meetings were changed.  The name was also changed to SPIRITUAL GROWTH SEMINARS, with a view to serve as avenues for teaching, equipping, ministry, raising labourers for the ministry as well as to provide for those helping in the Ministry, an opportunity to fellowship with each other.

It is indeed a privilege to soak in the teachings of anointed servants of God. In addition to our resident speaker and teacher, Bro Francis Khoo, our pulpit has hosted many local and international pastors, evangelists, missionaries, teachers and prophets. God has, through these men and women, faithfully brought a message for the season. Some of the speakers include Rev Dr Isaac Lim, Rev David Greenhough, Rev Edmund de Souza, Rev Henry Khoo, Rev Milton Lazarus, Rev Ron Sawka , Rev Rusty Russell, Rev Samuel Doctorian, Rev Terry Calkin , Dr Henry Jones, Dr John Solomon, Dr Kevin J. Conner, Dr Neal Patterson, Pastor Ken Harrison, Pastor Robert Francis, and Sis Maureen Onions, Rev Dave Smethurst, Evangelist Carl Butler, Pastor Jane Nasrallah, Pastor Rafael Shaw, Bro John Prabaharan, Pastor Curtis Hemphill, Rev John Cairns, Pastor Bob Mendelsohn, Dr Keith Jenkins, Dr Henry Wright, Sis Joan Hunter, Sis Teresa Seputis, Pastor John Jacks, Rev Miguel Escobar, Rev Neville Tan, Rev Samuel January, and Pastor Jaap Dielermann, amongst others. Glory to God!

The attendance at the meetings has also grown, with the highest recorded attendance of 280 at one of the meetings.  At the meetings, a visible presence of the Holy Spirit has been evident.  The anointing during the time of ministry has also attested to the glory of God, as fresh testimonies are shared at each meeting.

“The Lord has given, a land of good things,
I will press in and make them mine,
I know His power, I know His glory, And in His kingdom I will shine.
So with the high praises of God in my mouth
and a two-edged sword in my hand,
I will march right on to the victory side right into Canaan 's land!”

Spiritual Growth Meetings are held every Friday at 8pm at CVC.
