Building the Next Generation Seminar
2 & 16 May 2009 9am to 1pm at Covenant Vision Centre Speaker: Bro David Leong With all the worldly influences around us, it is important that we know what our Heavenly Father desires for the next generation. This seminar will address and present key foundational and biblical issues for the reaching, training and equipping of children.   Participants will also be challenged to think beyond “child-minding” or “keeping the kids entertained during service” and stirred to want to sow into the lives of our little ones that they may be raised as mighty ones for God’s Kingdom, especially in these final days. Who Should Attend?  - Those involved or interested in Children’s Ministry - Christian parents, guardians and caregivers - Pastors, Church leaders and Church workers About Bro David Leong Bro David Leong, Executive Director of Scripture Union (SU) Singapore, is a licensed Local Preacher and missionary sent out by Grace Methodist Church in July 1990 to serve in SU Singapore as its first full-time Director of Children & Families Ministries. A much sought-after speaker for children, young people, parents and teachers, David is an engaging speaker who is lively, animated and humorous. The Lord has used him to equip many children ministry teachers in Singapore, Brunei, China, England, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia (East & West), Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand. He and his wife, Cynthia who is a church-based kindergarten Principal, have three lovely children - Ivan (16+), Alyssa (14+) and Dorlisa (9+).
