A couple of months ago, I suffered a sudden gallbladder attack. At first I thought it was just the normal gastric pain. However, after I was warded for observation and an ultrasound scan, it was discovered that there were multiple stones in my gallbladder and was advised by the surgeon to have it out immediately to avoid any further complications.
I was anxious of course, but as I prayed over this situation, I was just filled with the Shalom Peace of God and knew that God would be with me through all this, and was confident in God that everything would be all right. I want to thank Covenant Vision too for all their concern and prayers.
True enough, the next day, after two hours in surgery, I regained consciousness, and was keenly aware that the operation was a success and that there was no need for any major 'cut' but only a 'key hole' surgery to remove the gallbladder. I was even able to walk the very next day and return to work a week later. Praise God!
For all this, I want to thank God, and give Him all the praise and glory. God is always so faithful. Since the surgery, the small wounds have healed quickly and speedily. I am now back to my normal routine, and except for having to refrain from fatty and oily food, I am completely fine and well again.
Thank you Lord!
