My daughter Grace sat for her Primary School Leaving Examinations last year (PSLE). Her results were good and we would like to give thanks to God for that.
Actually, her prelim results were not so good. Her T-score was 190, which was worrying. Sally and myself did what we could as parents and guided her and taught her as best we could. We didn't expect she would do so much better in the actual PSLE.
When Grace called her mother after receiving her results, she was crying. We thought she didn't do well and were ready to console her. When she revealed that she got 248 for her PSLE, we were thrilled and believed it was a miracle. When we asked her why she was crying, she said she missed the mark to get into her secondary school of choice by a mere 2 points.
After that, Sally and I appealed to the secondary school and by God's grace and with His favour, we managed to secure her a space there. Praise the Lord!
We want to thank God for the Pastors and the church, who were praying for her and the rest of the children going through the PSLE. The church kept them in prayer week after week during corporate prayer. Indeed, our God is a prayer-answering God!
