Obedience moves the hand of God

I attend Covenant Vision Prayer Powerhouse (PPH) quite often and on a particular Monday I was deciding if I should go for PPH. I was feeling quite tired after work and was thinking of going to visit my father-in-law who was in hospital having undergone a heart operation. According to my husband, my father-in-law was supposed to stay in the hospital for one week for further observation. That meant that I had one week to visit him.

The spirit was willing, but the flesh was weak. But I believed that if I was faithful to God, God would honour the time I give up for Him and honour me. I also believe that when I do God's work, my household is looked after by God as well. That's why I decided to go for PPH on that day. I also wanted to lift my father-in-law up in prayer as we pray for healing during the service.

I believe in deciding to honour God with my time to engage in corporate prayer, God honoured. When I reached CVC and even before prayer started, I received an sms from my husband that my father-in-law was cleared and could be discharged from the hospital the next day, Tuesday. Praise God! My father-in-law did not need to stay in the hospital for one more week! Isn't God good?! He is indeed faithful in the small things.
