I would like to testify how God has provided me a job in spite of age related problems and no bargaining power (no job).
I started coming for the Healing Service in February this year and also requested for prayer. I claimed on the verse Isaiah 41:13 which coincidentally was the same as Isaiah 41:10 given to me in the prayer request reply. "For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you Do not fear I will help you." At the same time I remembered the story of how Abraham and Sarah were given a child in spite of their old age and pleaded with God.
God provided a temporary job for me from end January till March and it was extended till September 2011. I knew the ageism was broken and waited for the Lord to answer my prayer in anticipation. I left this job in July and worked in another place (supposedly on permanent basis) but it did not materialize. I left on 25 August.
On 1 September I came across an ad for a Legal Secretary in an International firm and submitted my resume online at 12 noon. Around 12:30 pm the Office Manager called me for an interview at 3pm on same day. The Managing Partner only asked me 2 questions related to the persons whom I was serving and nothing else. I told him accordingly. He told me he would let me know his reply the following week.
Upon reaching home at 4:45 pm, I received a phone call from the Office Manager that I was engaged on a 1 month temporary to permanent basis starting work on 5 September with a bigger pay than my previous permanent job as I did not negotiate. I was surprised and happy. Praise God for this opening and the bigger pay packet. I just completed my assignment and the Managing Partner was too happy to confirm that it will be on permanent basis (30 Sept).
All praises and glory belong to God for it is impossible for me humanly speaking to obtain a permanent job with no bargaining power and also facing age-related problems. In the past I was slammed many times because of this. It is a fact but with God "All things are possible, only believe."
