My husband Wilson and I know Bro Francis Khoo through our church camp a few years ago where we told Bro Francis that we wanted to have children. Every time he came to our church to preach, we would ask him to pray for us and he always encouraged us to put our faith in God. He also shared with us how the Lord blessed his eldest daughter with a beautiful child. Our faith was lifted up after his sharing.
In May 2007, Bro Francis came to our church to preach again. I told him that my husband and I had been waiting for the Lord to bless us with a child for quite some time. He encouraged us to trust the Lord that He would give us children. Praise the Lord! I conceived that very month! My husband and I were so happy and excited about it.
However, when my pregnancy came to the 5th week, I started to have signs of miscarriage. I went to see my gynecologist as I started to have vaginal bleeding. After I went home from the clinic, I called Bro Francis and told him about the bad news. He prayed for me over the phone. He commanded the bleeding to stop in the name of Jesus and prayed for healing upon my placenta. After I had been resting for a few weeks, the bleeding indeed stopped.
My husband and I want to thank God for His love and protection of my child and my family. We also want to thank God for bringing people like Bro Francis and his wife to pray for us and comfort us during times like this. Now my boy is already 1 year old. He is indeed a joy to my family.
